How to photograph your art

What you need:

- your art
- camera or smart phone

Photographing the art

Place your art on the floor so you can easily shoot from above. The ideal place is by a window (for good light) although not in direct sunlight. If you do shoot in sunlight make sure to avoid shadows and light reflections.

Get as close to the art as you can without cropping it.

File size

File size is important. At all stages try to keep the actual original file size so you don’t loose resolution quality. This will insure  the best quality prints possible.

Shooting large art

When shooting large art, we recommend leaning the art against the wall, by a window if possible. Make sure it is away from direct sunlight and avoid shadows.
